Channing Tatum goes back to the grind in Magic Mike XXL trailer
Warner Bros. released the 1st titillating teaser for the Magic Mike sequel on Wednesday
Channing Tatum is going back to the grind in the sexy new trailer for Magic Mike XXL, the sequel to the strip club drama Magic Mike.
The 2012 surprise hit starred Tatum as a chiselled and charming male dancer trying to quit the life of easy money and women for bigger things, like making furniture.
But Mike gets sucked back in, according to the first look released Wednesday by Warner Bros.

The 1½ minute teaser starts with Tatum grinding metal suggestively to the racy rhythms of Ginuwine's Pony.
Original cast members Joe Manganiello and Matt Bomer are also back and shirtless for the remake, but Oscar-winning Dallas Buyers Club star Matthew McConaughey bowed out of the reboot action.

As the movie's provocative poster (tweeted by Channing Tatum) makes clear, Magic Mike XXL will hit theatres on July 1. With the hype machine already at full steam, and with five months left on the calendar, CBC's film critic is expressing doubt that the sequel will live up to expectations.
Magic Mike "was the Scarface of table dancing films," said Eli Glasner. "I don't know if they can keep that high bar for the second film. I suspect not."
