Canadian quartet The Tenors to perform for Obamas in Washington
Foursome will sing at national Christmas tree lighting ceremony Thursday evening
Canada's Juno Award-winning vocal group The Tenors, along with other musicians, will perform for the Obamas at the National Christmas Tree Lighting in Washington Thursday evening.
American actor Tom Hanks and his wife, actress and singer Rita Wilson, are hosting the 92nd annual national Christmas tree lighting ceremony that takes place at the White House.
Veteran soul singer Patti LaBelle, R&B artist Ne-Yo, pop group Fifth Harmony and others will also take the stage.
The young men sang at the opening ceremonies of 2010 Olympic Games in Vancouver and for Queen Elizabeth during her Diamond Jubilee celebrations at Windsor Castle in 2013
The Tenors also enjoy considerable popularity stateside, and have performed at a number of high profile gigs including with Celine Dion on The Oprah Winfrey Show and at the 2011 Emmy Awards in Los Angeles.
They're currently touring in support of their latest album Lead With Your Heart.
