The 22-year-old Brown was found face-down and unresponsive in a bathtub in her Roswell home Jan. 31.
Fulton County District Attorney Paul Howard said Thursday in a statement to The Associated Press that his office will be "reviewing the case with greater interest" in light of new circumstances regarding her health.
Moved to hospice care
Brown, the daughter of Whitney Houston, was recently moved into hospice care after months in the hospital. In a statement Wednesday, her aunt Pat Houston said that her condition has worsened.
The statement added the Houston family thanks "everyone for their support and prayers. She is in God's hands now."
Brown is also the daughter of singer Bobby Brown. He, along with Pat Houston, were appointed co-guardians of Brown last month.
Whitney Houston was found unresponsive in a bathtub on Feb. 11, 2012, and later died.
Lawsuit filed against boyfriend
Meantime, a court-appointed representative of Bobbi Kristina has filed a lawsuit against her boyfriend, Nick Gordon, claiming he took money from her and abused her physically and emotionally.
The complaint also accused Gordon of misrepresenting the nature of his relationship with Brown, being violent toward her and arguing with her before she was found face down in a bathtub at her suburban Atlanta townhome.
Gordon is accused of assault, battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, unjust enrichment and conversion.
