Ben Affleck swears, slurs in lively Deflategate rant
Actor launches into profanity-filled rant on HBO show
Ben Affleck has a problem with the Deflategate football scandal and let the world know about it in a profanity-filled rant that aired on the premiere episode of HBO's new talk show Any Given Wednesday with Bill Simmons.
The scandal involved the National Football League's suspension of New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady over the use of underinflated balls during a 2015 playoff game.
The filmmaker and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice actor, who was raised in New England and is very clearly a Patriots fan, defended the team's famous quarterback and also threw four-letter shade on NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell during his rant.

Affleck concluded by pointing out other problems in the league he believes are not getting proper attention.
"We haven't done anything to address this crisis of domestic violence in the NFL. But the f--king football better not be eight per cent lighter. "
Video of Affleck's appearance is being heavily discussed on social media, with some saying he appeared to be drunk, while others said he is just an angry and passionate Patriots fan. A representative for the actor didn't immediately respond to a request for comment.
