Warner Bros. goes forward 'rather than yield to terror'
The London premiere of Batman v Superman was scaled back Tuesday following the terrorist attacks in Brussels.
Warner Bros. said in a statement that "our hearts go out to the victims" and others affected by the deadly explosions at the Belgium city's main airport and subway.
But the studio also said it would go forward with the Tuesday-night premiere "rather than yield to terror."
However, interviews on the red carpet were cancelled.
The Leicester Square premiere of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice follows events in New York and Mexico City.
The film begins rolling out in some European theatres on Wednesday and opens in cinemas worldwide on Friday.
