Windsor police asked the public to steer clear of an area off Walker Road, just south of Wyandotte Street East, on Monday as they search the area for evidence related to an active investigation. Police say they will be in the area bounded by Walker Road, Edna Street, St. Luke Road and Richmond Street for two days.

On Monday police said they expected to be there for a couple of days as officers conducted a grid search on a vacant lot in that area. A police K9 unit and drone were also on scene.
