Attendance is up at the Windsor Symphony Orchestra this year.

The Holiday Pops Concert on the weekend marked its 10th sellout of the year.

Sheila Wisdom, the  executive director of Windsor Symphony Orchestra, said her organization thrives, in part, because it receives financial support from the City of Windsor.

The city turned the Capitol Theatre over to the orchestra and provided fudning for renovations.

But up Highway 401, Orchestra London seems to be on the path to bankruptcy after their city council decided to not provide them emergency funding.

Wisdom called the situation in London "very sad."

"It's sad for musicians. It's sad for the staff and it's sad for the community," Wisdom said. "People love what's going on [in Windsor]. What a difference it makes in people's lives and everyone should have that opportunity and every community should have that opportunity."

Wisdom says she doesn't know what will happen in the future for Windsor Symphony Orchestra, but remains positive about what 2015 will bring.
