Windsor has earned its way onto a Top 25 list that might make your skin crawl.

The Rose City ranks 11th in the country for bed bugs according to Orkin Canada.

The list is based on the number of bed bug treatments the company performed over a year span and includes both residential and commercial visits from the pest control company.

Early detection is key when it comes to keeping your bed clear of bugs, according to Orkin, but the tiny critters can be tough to get rid of.

Bed bugs often hide in hard-to-find spots and are capable of withstanding temperatures ranging from near the freezing mark all the way up to 50 C.

Canada's worst city for bed bugs over the past year was Toronto, followed by Winnipeg and Vancouver.
