Windsor police searching for 'armed and dangerous' suspect following pharmacy robbery
The suspect allegedly robbed a pharmacy counter wielding a long gun
Windsor police have released photos of a suspect who allegedly used a long gun to rob a pharmacy.
At about 12:00 p.m. Friday, police responded to a panic alarm at a pharmacy in the 4900 block of Wyandotte St E.
Police said the suspect approached the pharmacy counter and demanded narcotics. He carried a long gun, and concealed his face.
Employees co-operated with his demands, and the suspect sped away westbound in a grey Ford F150 truck with Ontario plates.
No one was injured in the incident.
The suspect is described as a six-foot male with a medium build. He was wearing a hooded jacket, dark sunglasses, a black bandana over his face, black pants, black gloves, white running shoes and a vest.
Police said the suspect is considered armed and dangerous, and should not be approached.
