Windsor man arrested after police say he livestreamed sexual abuse of a child
Police say that man, who they will not name to protect the identity of the child, made the video available on an unnamed "popular social media platform."
29 year old charged with sexually abusing a 3 year old on a livestream
A Windsor man is facing sexual assault and child pornography charges after allegedly livestreaming the sexual abuse of a child.
Police say the victim in the video is a 3-year-old child.
The man, who police will not name to protect the identity of the child, made the video available on an unnamed "popular social media platform," according to Windsor Police Service.
Police in Windsor say they acted on urgent information sent to them from the Toronto Police Service, and made the arrest near downtown within two hours of the initial report.
The 29-year-old man was arrested on Friday and has been charged with:
- Sexual assault.
- Sexual interference with a person under 16 years of age.
- Making child pornography.
- Possession of child pornography.
- Transmitting child pornography.
- Accessing child pornography.
