Family Day: What's open and closed in Windsor
The WFCU Centre will have some drop-in activities for families

Family Day is here Windsor-Essex. Whether you're out having fun with the kids or spending the day off relaxing, here's what's open and closed across Windsor.
Swimming, skating and other fun
The WFCU rink is open for regular ice rentals and public skating from 10:10 a.m. to 12:10 p.m. on Monday. The centre will also host drop-in pickleball from 8 to 10 a.m., as well as drop-in basketball from 4 to 6 p.m. and from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
The WFCU's community pool is open from 1 to 3:30 p.m. for a family swim.
The Gino and Liz Marcus community complex is offering a children's mat program from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Monday, and the pool is closed for the day.
The Windsor International Aquatic and Training Centre pool and fitness centre is open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Monday. Residents can visit the city's website and swim schedule for details.
The city's Adventure Bay water park is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Monday.
All other community and customer care centres and arenas are closed except for previously booked rentals or events.
City services
Transit Windsor buses are operating on a Sunday schedule and the transit office on Chatham Street will be closed.
The city's Homelessness and Housing Help Hub (H4) is open regular hours: 24 hours a day, seven days a week, including the holiday Monday. Call (519) 253-3806 for information.
The city's 311 contact centre is closed on Monday. To report municipal emergencies, contact 519-255-6326. 311 services and information are available all the time online and in the 311 mobile app.

There are no residential collection services on Monday, and pick-up will be delayed by one day. This does not impact night commercial, front end loader and weekly recycling collections. Residents can refer to their waste collection calendars or the city's website for more information.
Public drop-off and household chemical waste depots are closed on Monday.
Municipal ticket payment offices are closed on Monday, however residents can pay tickets online through the city's website.
Windsor libraries, museums and shopping
The Riverside, Central and Budimir branches of the Windsor Public Library will be open Monday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. All other branches are closed and will reopen Tuesday.
The Chimczuk Museum and François Baby House are closed Monday in keeping with their standard hours.
Devonshire Mall is open 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Tecumseh Mall is open 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
