BookFest Windsor launches today

BookFest Windsor is launching its slate of speakers for the upcoming festival at Biblioasis today.

As the book festival enters its 15th year, the focus will be on diversity.

Part of the event will include panel discussions touching on sports, arts and politics with speakers including former NHL defenseman Chris Chelios, James Bartleman, the former Lieutenant-Governor of Ontario, and Giller Prize-shortlisted authors Gary Barwin and Catherine Leroux.

The festival runs Nov. 4-6 with events at the Art Gallery of Windsor and the Chimczuk Museum.
