Westbound lanes of Highway 401 reopen after collision sends tractor-trailer through wall
Minor injuries have been reported
The westbound lanes of Highway 401 have reopened following a two-truck crash that sent a tractor-trailer hurtling through a cement barrier wall Friday morning.
Emergency crews worked to contain leaking fuel at the scene near Dougall Parkway after the truck's tanks ruptured.
The westbound lanes of the highway were shut down for clean up around 6 a.m., but were cleared around 9 a.m. according to provincial police.
No hazardous material was being hauled, but minor injuries were reported stated Tecumseh Fire and Rescue Services.
