Unifor strike deadline set with Ford Motor Co.

Unifor has set its strike deadline in contract negotiations with Ford Motor Co. for 11:59 p.m. Oct 31.

Unifor has set its strike deadline in contract negotiations with Ford Motor Co. for  11:59 p.m. Oct 31. 

Ford is the last of the Detroit Three automakers to be negotiating a new contract with Unifor.

The union is looking to secure investment at the two engine plants in Windsor, Ont. and continue the pattern set in negotiations with General Motors and Fiat Chrysler over the last two months. 

 Ford employs 6,400 hourly workers in Canada.
