Umbrella-wielding thief robs pharmacy, police say

Windsor police say a man holding an umbrella to hide his identity robbed a pharmacy on Dougall Avenue.

Windsor police are looking for a man in his late 30's to early 40's in a pharmacy robbery on Dougall Avenue.

Police say a man went into the Dougall Pharmacy and demanded narcotics from an employee.

The suspect concealed his identity by clothing and by holding a large green and white umbrella. He jumped over the front counter and took drugs, then returned to the counter and demanded cash, police say.

The suspect left with both drugs and money. He threw away the umbrella as he left through the plaza.

Police describe the suspect as a white man with a medium build, between five-feet-five inches five-feet-8-inches tall. He was wearing a black hoodie, baseball hat, black leather jacket, blue jeans and dark shoes.  

Windsor Police are asking anyone with information to call police.
