3 people injured in 'violent struggle' in Windsor
Charges laid include assault with a weapon, robbery and forcible confinement
Initial reports of a robbery in Windsor have left two men facing charges and three men suffering from non-life threatening injuries, according to police.
Officers responded to a multi-unit building in the 1300 block of University Avenue West, near Cameron Avenue, around 5 a.m. Wednesday. There they found two men suffering from cuts and stab wounds.
A third man was later located in hospital with injuries consistent with the same "violent struggle," according to Windsor police.
Investigators believe all three men, who knew each other, were in the same unit together that morning when a dispute broke out.
Only two of the men are facing charges.
A 23-year-old from Windsor is facing two counts of aggravated assault, while a 42-year-old Windsor man faces a total of seven charges including robbery, assault with a weapon and forcible confinement.
