CBC Windsor celebrates Sounds of the Season
Come down to CBC Windsor for the Sounds of the Season celebrations all day Friday
It's time to give back. The CBC Windsor Sounds of the Season food drive is in full stride with a full day of activities.
Musicians performed throughout a special broadcast of Windsor Morning with host Tony Doucette Friday morning. There were performances by Crissi Cochrane, Soul Brother Mike, Leighton Bain, Karen Morand and Buck Twenty.
Several special guests, including Mayor Drew Dilkens, talked about the need to donate during the holiday season.
- Windsor food bank use climbs, despite provincial drop
- Leamington school ships truckload of donations to Bearskin Lake
Tours of the station will take place throughout the day and people are invited to watch the evening broadcast of CBC Windsor News at 6 with Lisa Xing.
Admission is free but donations of cash or food to the annual Sounds of the Season food drive for the food banks of Windsor and Essex County are welcome and appreciated.
Donations can also be made online. Come join us at CBC Place, 825 Riverside Drive West.
