Sixth suspect charged with murder, kidnapping in historical homicide case

Windsor police have arrested the sixth suspect in connection with a homicide that happened on October 19, 2016.

The 38-year-old man was located near Charlie Brooks Court about 10:30 p.m. Saturday and is charged with murder, kidnapping and forcible confinement.

Four men — including a pair of identical twins — and a woman are already facing murder and forcible confinement charges in connection with the case.

The 26-year-old male victim was allegedly lured to a Tim Horton's on Howard Avenue and taken by the four individuals, who beat, cut and stabbed him while he was bound, according to police.

The victim was found the next morning in a Mill Street apartment, according to police. Emergency crews took him to the hospital where he later died from his injuries.
