Police have charged the driver of a transport truck which collided with a school bus in Chatham-Kent.

Eight children were on the bus at the time of Friday morning's collision, according to police. Minor injuries were reported, but no one was transported to hospital.

Officials are advising people to avoid the intersection of Tylee Street and Talbot Trail in Morpeth, Ont. — east of Rondeau Park.

A 67-year-old man from Simcoe, Ont. has been charged with careless driving.
