Man in critical condition after being struck by vehicle in Sarnia, Ont., police say

Sarnia police say a 58-year-old man is in a London hospital in critical condition — with what they are calling “life-altering injuries” — after being struck by a vehicle early Thursday.

Sarnia police say a 58-year-old man is in a London hospital in critical condition — with what they are calling "life-altering injuries" — after being struck by a vehicle early Thursday.

According to authorities, it happened just after midnight in the area of Colborne Road and Berkshire Road, just north of Highway 402.

The victim was lying in the roadway when officers arrive, police say, and the vehicle involved remained at the scene.

The Sarnia Police Service's traffic unit continues to investigate. 

They're asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has video surveillance or dashcam footage to get in contact with them.
