Windsor has set a new-record low temperature for Nov. 19.
The early-morning low dropped to -10.2 C at Windsor International Airport.
The previous record set in 1986 was -6.3 C at the airport, which has been the official weather station for Environment Canada since 1940.
Environment Canada did say that a now defunct weather station in what was called Riverside-Windsor reported -15 C on this day in 1880.
Besides the cold, Windsor is expected to see 5 cm of snow today.
