Police seize large quantity of cocaine, pot, pills and guns during search

A 46-year-old Windsor man is facing drug and firearm charges after police found guns and a large quantity of drugs at a home on Wyandotte Street East.

A Windsor man is facing drug and firearm charges after police found guns and a large quantity of drugs at a home on Wyandotte Street East.

The 46-year-old was carrying cocaine, cash and a switchblade when he was arrested around 5:45 p.m. Thursday.

During a search of the house, police found the following:

  • Drug trafficking equiptment including cutting agents, plastic baggies and digital scales

  • 963 grams of suspected cocaine

  • 162.7 grams of suspected marijuana

  • 12 hydromorphone pills

  • 6 morphine pills

  • Canadian cash

  • 2 loaded handguns and ammunition

The estimated street value of the drugs is $98,209. 

The suspect is charged with two counts of possession of an unauthorized firearm, two counts of possession of cocaine for eth purpose of trafficking and three counts of possession of marijuana, hydromorphone and morphine.
