The Windsor Police Service's long-time fleet manager has been charged with five more offences for allegedly defrauding his employer.

James Brush, a civilian Windsor police employee of 17 years, now faces two additional charges of fraud over $5,000, as well as one count of forging a document, unauthorized use of a corporate credit card and fraud under $5,000.

One of the frauds over $5,000 charges is alleged to have occurred over an 11-year span, between December 2013 and June 2024.

Brush was arrested in June, and charged with fraud over $5,000 and unauthorized use of a corporate credit card. He now faces a total of seven charges.

Windsor police made his first two charges public in a July 17 news release, where they said he had been suspended with pay until the investigation is complete.

However, police did not make public the additional five charges that were laid Nov. 12.

The 48-year-old is scheduled to appear in court Feb. 18.
