Federal government calls for bidders to repair building's exterior
The exterior of Windsor's Paul Martin Sr. Building is about to get a renovation.
Monday, the federal government listed a tender for the repair and partial rehabilitation of the structure.
The work involves the rebuilding of the exterior façade on the south, east and north sides of the building, according to the public tender listed by the Department of Public Works and Government Services.
The City of Windsor announced in August that it would buy the building for $1 as part of a proposal to move the law school into the building.
One company, the Limen Group Construction Ltd. from Toronto, had publicly expressed interested in the contract as of Monday evening, according to the public works department's website.
