Construction of Windsor's new city hall remains on schedule for an end-of-year completion, according to the latest update from staff.
A report for Monday's council meeting says the $43.9-million project will be completed within the approved budget.
Construction is expected to wrap up by December with offices being furnished and prepared for operations in the new year. City hall staff are expected to move into their new digs by May 2018.
Windsor-based Oscar Construction Ltd. was awarded the contract to build the new city hall for just more than $30 million.
Additional costs for site work around the building will push the total cost to the $43.9-million mark.
