Multiple charges including forcible confinement in weekend assault
Four people face charges with police issuing arrest warrants for two other people
Three women have been charged with forcible confinement and assault with a weapon, and a man faces charges of aggravated assault and assault with a weapon after an attack early Saturday morning.
Windsor police say a 19-year-old woman was taken to hospital with minor injuries after the assault that occurred in an apartment on University Avenue East near McDougall Street.
Two women, both 21-years-old and from Windsor, have been charged with aggravated assault, forcible confinement, assault with a weapon and possession of a controlled substance. A third 21-year-old Windsor woman has been charged with aggravated assault, forcible confinement, assault with a weapon, and utter a death threat.
In addition, a 28-year-old man from Windsor is charged with aggravated assault, two counts of assault with a weapon, and breach of probation.
Windsor police have two additional suspects in this case, and have issued arrest warrants for Windsor residents Christopher Lucier, 24, and Marcus Scott, 21, on the charges of aggravated assault, forcible confinement, assault with a weapon, and uttering a death threat.
