All three Mark Boscariol-owned restaurants close abruptly
Downtown Pizza Co., Good Neighbour and SnackBar-B-Q have all made official announcements
Three weeks after the sudden passing of downtown booster Mark Boscariol, all three of his restaurants have abruptly closed.
The official Facebook pages of Downtown Pizza Co., Good Neighbour and SnackBar-B-Q made the announcement Thursday just after 3 p.m.
Boscariol died July 26 and left behind a wife and a son. He was 51 years old, according to his Facebook profile.
Downtown Windsor BIA chairperson Larry Horwitz said he is unsure what the future of the properties will hold.
"We do know that they're in a hold pattern. We know that things are being evaluated ... But I don't think anyone's made any final determinations," he said.
The Good Neighbour, Downtown Pizza Co. and Snack Bar-B-Q have all posted status on Facebook saying "we are no longer operating."
