Four incumbents are not seeking re-election. Ward 1 councillor Drew Dilkens is one of 12 men running for mayor. There are no women running for the city's top job. 

Coun. Ron Jones is calling it a political career after representing Ward 2 on Windsor's west end since 2002.

Ward 3 councillor Fulvio Valentinis ran uncontested and has been acclaimed as a Windsor Essex Catholic District School Board trustee.

Ward 4 councillor Alan Halberstadt is running as a Greater Essex County District School Board trustee.
