Essex Power reporting continued power outages in LaSalle

Essex Power says power remains out to homes around Victory Street and Front Road in LaSalle, Ont. 

About 50 homes are affected by the outage, Essex Power reports. Lines have been damaged by trees and wires are down due to a confirmed tornado in the area. 

• Tornado touches down in LaSalle, Ont., possibly also in Windsor
• City of Windsor opens emergency operations centre

It's currently unknown when the power will come back on.
