Chrysler Canada sales up on Dodge Caravan, Ram truck sales
Chrysler Canada sales continue to surge.
The company announced on Monday its 59th consecutive month of year-over-year sales growth, signifying the longest sales streak in the company’s history.
Chrysler sold 22,303 vehicles in October 2014, compared with 18,131 sold in October of last year. That marked a 23-per-cent increase.
David Buckingham, Chrysler Canada's chief operating officer said in a media release that “2014 is shaping up to be a historic year for Chrysler Canada."
The Dodge Ram truck brand set an all-time monthly record in October of 2014 with 6,912 sales, marking the brand’s 23rd month of consecutive year-over-year sales gains in Canada. It's now the No. 2 selling pickup in Canada.
The Dodge Caravan remained the country's top-selling minivan.
Chrysler sold 45,018 Caravans, compare to 40,173 a year ago. It was a 12 per cent sales increase.
