2 Windsor convenience stores robbed overnight

Two Windsor convenience stores were robbed overnight and police say both involved a suspect who had a knife.

The first occurred at a Mac's Convenience store located in the 300 block of Mill Street, around 8 p.m. Thursday.

Police say a man wearing a ski mask and wielding a knife entered the store and demanded money.

The suspect left the store with cash and cigarettes.

Police say the suspect is described as a 5'7" white male, who is 27 to 30 years old. He wore black clothing and a ski mask.

The second robbery occurred around 1 a.m. Friday at a convenience store located in the 800 block of Campbell Avenue.

Police say the suspect in this robbery also wore a ski mask and had a knife.

He left the store with some cash.

The suspect in this incident is described as a 25-year-old, 5'5" white man, who wore black clothing and a ski mask.

Windsor police spokesman Const. Andrew Drouillard said police are investigating if the two incidents are connected.
