Weather hot and dry from coast to coast
Temperature records have been broken across Canada this summer.
There have been record-breaking temperatures in Yellowknife, unusually high humidity on the Prairies, and in Prince Edward Island wells are running dangerously low.
The warmer and drier conditions across Canada this summer are expected to stick around for a while, according to an Environment Canada climatologist, who says there's no relief in sight.
Much of the country has faced a double-whammy of very hot and very dry conditions, reports the CBC's Duncan McCue.
