Three youths have been charged in an investigation into two separate home invasions targeting luxury vehicles in Brampton, Ont.

Peel Regional Police allege the accused, along with one outstanding suspect, drove a stolen Acura sedan to two different houses just before 3 a.m. local time Thursday.

They unsuccessfully attempted to force entry into the first house near Creditview Road and Maybeck Drive, police said in a news release Saturday. Police say a luxury vehicle parked in the driveway is believed to have been the target.

Shortly after, the suspects drove to a house near Brisdale Drive and Mayfield Road, where they forced entry and demanded keys to a luxury vehicle parked outside, police said. Three victims suffered stab wounds during the robbery, police said, and the suspects fled in the victims' vehicle and the stolen Acura.

All three victims were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

Police said they later located the stolen Acura and two suspects were arrested. A third suspect was arrested later that morning when investigators executed a search warrant in Brampton, police said, and the stolen luxury vehicle was recovered.

One of the accused is 14-years-old and the other two are 15-years-old. All four are charged with three counts of aggravated assault, two counts of robbery, one count of possession of property obtained by crime and wearing a disguise with intent to commit a crime.

One accused is also charged with breaching probation and breach of a court order.

The investigation is ongoing and police are asking anyone with information of the incident to contact them.
