Street-level crowding cause 'unprecedented' commute amid Raptors' championship parade
Early estimates suggested about one million revellers were in the streets for the parade
Transit riders experienced an "unprecedented" afternoon commute as over a million revelers disperse after the Raptors' NBA championship parade that took over downtown Toronto Monday.

Several bus and streetcar routes were also on temporary detours as the parade makes its way from Exhibition Place to Nathan Phillips Square.
Early estimates suggested about one million revellers were in the streets for the parade, Toronto Supt. Mike Barsky of 52 Division told CBC Toronto early Monday afternoon.
