Toronto's Top 10 neighbourhoods for adultery

Toronto's adulterers are most likely to live in some of the city's most affluent neighbourhoods, if numbers by a niche dating service are to be believed.

AshleyMadison.com, an online dating service that caters to people looking for love or a bit of slap and tickle outside their relationships, has examined the postal codes of its 400,000 users in the Greater Toronto Area.

According to those numbers, the Toronto neighbourhood with the most people registered to the site is the Beach in the city's east end, says the service known for staging attention-grabbing publicity stunts.

It is not clear what criteria the service used to classify the areas in its study as neighbourhoods, as vast former cities such as Etobicoke and Scarborough are compared with smaller neighbourhoods such as Leaside or Rosedale.
