In a news release, police say road closures will be in effect after Game 5 of the American League Divisional Series. The post-season showdown between the Jays and the Texas Rangers is set to begin at 4:07 p.m.
Local police are expecting nearly 50,000 fans to pack into the Rogers Centre, which will have a closed roof today. The following road closures will take effect after the final pitch:
- Blue Jays Way will have a partial road closure for southbound traffic from Front Street West to Navy Wharf Court.
- Bremner Boulevard will have a partial road closure for eastbound traffic from Spadina Avenue to Rees Street.
- Bremner Boulevard will have a full road closure for eastbound traffic from Rees Street to Lower Simcoe Street.
- Bremner Boulevard will have a full road closure for westbound traffic from Lower Simcoe Street to Navy Wharf Court.

- Make use of alternate routes.
- Utilize public transit.
- Carpool where possible.
- Avoid the Rogers Centre area, if possible.
- Be courteous to others while travelling.
- Give yourself plenty of time.
