Toronto Public Health is advising anyone who ate at the Sierra Grill restaurant on Jan. 23 to get a hepatitis A vaccination.

Health officials say diners at the restaurant at 2901 Bayview Avenue may have been exposed to the virus.

Toronto's associate medical officer of health says an employee of the restaurant was diagnosed with hepatitis A, but adds the risk of infection is low.

However, Dr. Michael Finkelstein says anyone who ate at the restaurant last Sunday should get vaccinated as a precaution.

Free clinics for anyone who ate there that day will be held at North York Memorial Hall on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Symptoms of hepatitis A can develop 15 to 50 days after exposure to the virus and include fever, loss of appetite, tiredness, nausea and vomiting, dark urine and yellowing of the skin.
