Toronto rage room lets people smash out their stress
Inside Toronto's 'Rage Room, plates, printers and even porcelain angels all get smashed in the name of some stress relief.
The recently opened room, billed as Toronto's first, lets anyone pull on some protective gear and beat up on a range of objects for 30 minutes at a time. You can swing a crow bar or hockey stick and according to the room's operators the most popular item on the room's "smash menu" is lawn gnomes.
There's also an "indestructible" block to get angry at.
The idea was actually imported from Serbia. Many who have tried out the room say they can see why it's a hit.
"I think I definitely relieved some stress," said Christine Pynkoski, after shattering a few plates with a metal baseball bat.
"I've never seen anything like this and in everyday life, you get stressed out."
