TTC service

TTC CEO Andy Byford said the transit system is "largely up and running" after crews worked through the night to clear ice from the streetcar lines. All that remains down is the Sheppard Subway line, but the TTC is running shuttle buses along the line.

The TTC is posting its service updates here.

Here's what we've confirmed:

  • Streetcars are back up and running but customers are advised to expect delays.

  • There is no service on the Sheppard subway lines. Shuttle buses are operating.

  • GO Transit is operating on an adjusted winter schedule today.

GO Transit

Go is operating on an adjusted winter schedule but they are dealing with power outages at stations and switch problems. Riders are asked to check GoTransit.com for delays before they head out.

Airports

At Pearson many flights are delayed or cancelled, both departing and arriving. And there is a big backlog from flights cancelled over the weekend.

Porter airlines has issued a weather advisory for Boston, Newark & the East Coast. Passengers are strongly advised to check their flight status with their airline and give yourself extra time to get to the airport safely.
