Justin Bieber: What people are saying in his hometown

Justin Bieber has always found reasons to return to his hometown of Stratford, Ont., even after hitting it big as an international pop star.

For the people who remember him before he was famous, there is concern about what is going on in his personal life — especially now that he has found himself facing legal problems on both sides of the border.

Nicole Leis went to school with Bieber when he was younger.

She remembers him as being "a really, really good kid," but someone who she believes currently needs a change of scenery.

"I honestly think he just needs to grow up, be at home [and] be out of the money and the stardom," she told CBC News in an interview.
