I was there in '93: Woman recalls wedding and Blue Jays win coinciding

Bride-to-be Sheila Boudreau was a little worried that her guests' attention would be elsewhere with the Toronto Blue Jays vying for the World Series title on Oct. 23, 1993.
But her post-wedding gathering swiftly put her concerns to rest.

Boudreau enjoys sharing an anniversary with the Jays, making parallels between her marriage and the game-winning homer.
"I think back on what happened — the homerun that Joe Carter had — 22 years later, looking at my life with my husband, we have three beautiful kids. It was such a good sign."
