I was there in '93: Last-minute Jays tickets led to lifelong memory
'The stadium erupted. It was shaking'
Ron Wener received a call on Oct. 23, 1993 from his brother who worked at a box office.
He managed to snag Game 6 World Series tickets at the last minute and it was a birthday present of sorts for Wener.

He remembers "the moment of elation" he felt when Joe Carter hit the walk-off home run.
"It looked for awhile that we didn't have a chance then the ninth inning happened."
"I was excited and I started jumping up and down but I didn't realize it."
"The stadium erupted; it was shaking," Wener said.
"It was just one of the best memories of my life."
