Toronto Fashion Week models stumble on runway — one after another
The glitz and glam of Toronto Fashion Week wasn't enough to prevent models from slipping on the same spot at the front of the runway at Monday night's show — one after another.
Models at Mikhael Kale fashion show slip on same spot on runway
It turns out supermodels are human, too
Models at Canadian designer Mikhael Kale's fashion show had a few — OK, a lot — of slips and falls as Toronto Fashion Week kicked off on a shaky though colourful start Monday night.
A representatives for Kale was adamant that the runway, built and maintained by festival organizers, was to blame for the falls, not the designer's latest collection.
Video from the event shows the models slipping on the same spot at the front of the runway — one after another.
Other than creating a moment that's painfully relatable to many of us "regular folk," the show created of buzz in the local fashion community and the collection received positive reviews.
