Drake wants Norm Kelly to 'drop the mixtape'
Rapper was impressed when 74-year-old councillor danced to Hotline Bling at Drake night
Another chapter was written in the budding bromance saga of Drake and Norm Kelly on Wednesday night when the hometown hip-hop hero said he's waiting for the 74-year-old city councillor to release his own mixtape.
"I think it's Norm's turn to just to drop the mixtape for the Six and just kill it," he said. "I know they're waiting on my album but I think we might have to do the Norm Kelly first to segue into that, so I'm working on it."
Earlier in the day, Kelly showed off some dance moves inside the coloured cube featured in Drizzy's viral video Hotline Bling and said he can show Drake some "retro moves from back in the day."

"I thought [the video] was outside of the context of most rap videos," Kelly said. "A lot of performers imitate what's already there and he's a true artist in that he's willing to do things that are new and original and different."
The Toronto Raptors beat the Cleveland Cavaliers 103-99 on Wednesday night as fans celebrated "Drake night" across the city.
The Canadian rap superstar said the special event is something he's trying to do to create moments for the city.
"Yes, it's named after me, but it's definitely dedicated to Toronto," the 29-year-old hip-hop sensation said. "Anything I can do for my city, I'm on board."
Kelly seems to share those sentiments. In an interview with CBC News, he said he takes every opportunity he can to highlight Toronto on social media.
"I can say I deliberately would not focus so much on myself as most do on Twitter and instead focus on the city that I've come to know and love very much and that is the city of Toronto and the quirkiness of living in this city."
Kelly said one of his Twitter stardom secrets is to "stir the pot, the other is to tickle the spot, and third is to inform."
