Doug Ford says he'll prove Rob Ford is getting treatment

Toronto Coun. Doug Ford says he'll provide proof today that his brother, Mayor Rob Ford, is getting help for alcohol-related issues.
Doug Ford says he'll "put out proof" on Friday that will end any speculation over whether his brother is in a rehabilitation centre.
“Since the day he went in, he has never been out in public,” the councillor told a newspaper.

The mayor's whereabouts are unknown. He flew to Chicago last week in an effort to get to a rehabilitation centre, but then flew back to Canada after a discussion with U.S. customs.
He has since given two interviews to newspapers, saying his treatment is "amazing."
Meanwhile, his colleagues on city council have said they're doubtful he's in rehab.
There's no evidence that sightings of the mayor around Toronto have any merit.
Coun. Joe Mihevc has been one of the most vocal in calling for proof the mayor is getting treatment.
"For that political redemption story to be born, he has to provide proof that it’s warranted," Mihevc said.
"I don’t know what that proof is. The onus is on him to provide that proof for Torontonians to believe him."
Providing evidence is a political necessity in light of Ford's history, he added, but not a legal requirement.
The back-and-forth about alcohol treatment comes amid the unearthing of another video of the mayor in a west-end bar.
The video appears to show him ordering shots of whisky. He also can be heard using expletives and discussing his marriage.
The video was given to the Toronto Sun, the same newspaper that has been interviewing Ford since he went into rehab.
