Doors Open Toronto takes you inside new TTC stations, but just for the day
Downsview Park, York University stations set to open by end of year
You'll have the chance to tour the TTC's newest stations months before they're set to open as part of Doors Open Toronto this weekend.
For one day only, on Saturday, people will be able to tour the new Downsview Park and York University stations from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

CBC Toronto got a sneak peek of Downsview Park station ahead of the event.
"This is really quite a unique station because it's a combined station operating both for TTC and for GO Transit," said TTC spokesperson Joanna Kervin.
"It will allow people coming from places along the Barrie line to interchange with the subway system and to get more places than simply going down to Union Station. It gives passengers a lot more choice in how they travel and where they're traveling to."
Downsview Park station is located at Downsview Park on the south side of Sheppard Avenue West.
On Saturday, visitors can learn how the stations were built and how they will operate. They'll also have the opportunity to talk to project staff and artist Panya Clark Espinal, who has created several pieces for the TTC.
Both Downsview Park and York University stations will open later this year as part of the Toronto-York Spadina Subway Extension (TYSSE) into York Region.
But a reminder if you're using the TTC to get there: Line 2 of the subway will be closed from St. George to Broadview stations both Saturday and Sunday. The TTC is doing scheduled maintenance and the city is working on the Prince Edward Viaduct.
