David Price, Blue Jays off to an awkward start on Twitter
The Blue Jays tweet a photo of new acquisition David Price, sort of
Amid the excitement of landing star pitcher David Price in a multi-player deal, the Toronto Blue Jays tweeted a photo of their new ace in a hometown jersey.
Well, sort of.
According a tweet by Price, the photo isn't him and is, in fact, quite a lot more muscular. "Holy forearms!!! Very flattering photo but not me...thanks #jays," said the former Cy Young winner.
Price was also quick to retweet welcome messages from several of his new teammates, and also shared a picture of his niece in a fresh Blue Jays hat.
