Blue Jays' 1st division title in 22 years unleashes social media elation
Players break out cigars, champagne to celebrate clinching AL East title in Baltimore
The Toronto Blue Jays and their fans have taken to social media to celebrate the MLB team's first division title since 1993.
Heading into play Wednesday, the Jays needed only one win or a Yankees loss to seal the AL East title. A Tuesday rainout meant the team had a double-header, giving Toronto two chances to wrap up the division without any help from New York.
The Jays clobbered the Orioles 15-2 in the first game of the double bill. The celebration after that game was somewhat muted because they had another game 30 minutes later (they lost 8-1).
But they finally broke out the cigars and champagne after their playing day was done. Here's a slice of how the celebration went down, in the dressing room and on social media.

Here, Munenori Kawasaki gets a beer bath during a post-game interview.
Here's the whole team dancing in the champagne shower.
Stephen R. Brooks, the team's senior vice-president of business operations, caught Kawasaki later, possibly washing off the effects of the beer bath.
