Homes under construction set on fire in suspected arson attack: York police
Video shows 2 men approach homes with jerry cans before homes set on fire

York police are searching for two men after a pair of homes that were under construction in the Township of King were burned down last weekend.
The fires happened Saturday morning in a new-build residential area near 15th Sideroad and Charles Baker Drive, police said in a news release.
Police were called about the fires around 6:30 a.m. When officers arrived at the scene, they found two homes that were under construction engulfed in flames.
The homes were unoccupied at the time and no one was injured, police said.
Video footage from the area posted to YouTube by York police shows two men driving up to the area in newer-model grey Dodge Durango.
The men are seen walking up the street while each holding jerry cans, one yellow and one red. The men then appear to light two homes on fire. A short time after, large flames and plumes of smoke shoot out of both homes, as the men flee the area.
Police say the men fled eastbound on Bud Wilmot Way.
In addition to the Dodge Durango, investigators believe the suspects were also driving a four-door sport utility vehicle with black alloy rims, a hood air-intake vent and sunroof.
Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact York Regional Police.
