Anthony Lue wants to compete at the Toronto-hosted Parapan Am Games later this year.

Lue was a standout athlete in high school. But his life changed when he became a paraplegic following an industrial accident at an auto-wrecker.

Today he competes as a handcyclist. He works out seven times a week, hoping to make his dream — to compete at both the coming Parapan Am Games and the Olympics — a reality.

"To think that you have a whole city or country behind you, it's nuts … I can't wait for that moment," said Lue.
